Growing herbs is a wonderful way for kids to learn about gardening and cooking. In celebration of Earth Day during Humboldt Green Week, the Discovery Museum will be holding an Herb Garden Workshop for children and their parents. Visitors are encouraged to bring two recycled containers per child to plant a varieties of herbs in. Herb starts, soil and gardening supplies for the Herb Garden Workshop were donated by Northcoast Horticulture Supply. FREE entry into the Discovery Museum on Sunday, April 22nd is funded by First Five Humboldt in celebration of Earth Day. Bring the whole family!
